Friday, July 21st, we’re fixin’ to throw a hootin’ and hollerin’ dance/karaoke party Featuring DJ Byron T. Addison.
The theme for the evening will be “Farmer’s Daughter & Country Boy”.
So put on your best country duds, dust off them boots, and mosey on down to join in the fun.
Saturday, July 22nd, it’s time for a dance class at 11am. And reckonin’ on the interest we drum up, we’ll be swingin’ into action with either the graceful Waltz or the lively 3-Step. If we gather enough enthusiasm, we might just wrangle up another class for y’all. Each class will last ’bout an hour, givin’ ya plenty of time to stomp and sway.
It’d be mighty swell if y’all can rustle up a partner, but fret not, for singles are more than welcome to join in the fun. Now, here’s a tip straight from the horse’s mouth: slip into shoes with slide-friendly soles. Rubber soles ain’t the way to go. If ya ain’t got the right footwear, why, socks will do the trick just fine! So, gather ’round and join us for a boot-stompin’, heel-kickin’ good time.
Saturday, July 22nd at 5pm, we have planned a fantastic chuck wagon feast where we can relish the old-fashioned charm and mouthwatering flavors of the Wild West.
Imagine if you will, a picturesque outdoor setting, with a crackling campfire, rustic ambiance, and a genuine chuck wagon serving up delectable cowboy cuisine.
THAT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
But fear not, for we’ve rustled up some mouthwaterin’ treats that’ll satisfy your hunger. We’ll have hearty hamburgers and sizzling hot dogs, topped with all the fixin’s. And let’s not forget the classic companions of macaroni and cheese and slow-cooked baked beans. As for dessert, well, that’s where you fine folks come in. If you’ve got a favorite sweet treat you’d like to share, feel free to bring it along! A little taste of homemade goodness will surely add a touch of sweetness to our Western shindig. But remember, above all, what we truly require is your appetite.

Prepare to unleash your inner adventurer as you bring forth your collection of paper clips and doo dads, ready to exchange them for the mysterious prizes lurking behind door Door #3 or Box #2 or…
3 PM – Get ready to dive into a world of thrilling pool games aplenty! But remember, participation is key if you want to unlock the ultimate reward, a chance to participate in The Grove Family Feud Game, hosted by the incomparable “Richard Awesome.”
4 PM – Vodka Volleyball. The rules are simple, You miss a shot, you take a shot.
9 PM – The Grove Family presents a dazzling affair, the infamous “Not So Newly Wed Game!” Hosted by the charming and mischievous “Chuckie Bullery”. Brace yourselves for outrageous revelations, hilarious banter, and unexpected twists.
And it’s not over! Hold onto your seats, for whispers have been swirling in the air, and it seems that fate has aligned to bring you an extraordinary spectacle. Prepare to witness the legendary air band, none other than the massively famous SWAMP FOX, grace the stage with their awe-inspiring presence!
Just Fyi… Swing Nation is taking over The Resort on Aug 10-13, 2023. Only members with a gold membership are allowed without going through swing nation (unless you need rental spot then you have to go to swing nation) this includes guest that maybe staying with you. They have took over the resort so you must go through them to be there. Only exception gold members who already have a place here. The $25.00 membership everyone pays to visit is because we are a private club this membership isn’t included you must book through swing nation. This is a private event that was booked through us no extra fees will be charged by us Mountain Creek Grove but you must book through swing nation. We don’t know their fees so you must book with them. swingersociety.net

What another wonderful Dirty Disney weekend, it was a blast! The winner of the Jello wrestling was Tina. The Magic Mirror winner went to Mary Jane.
There were a lot of wonderful costumes and the contest winners were:
Best Female- Billy with Maleficent Best Male- Wayne & Randall with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb Best Couple – Vonee & Tony with Ursula and her eels
